There are several factors that you need to consider before buying one of our climbing frames.
- The age of your child or children - Our climbing frames are designed for children aged 3+. Some of our climbing frames will be adapted to suit the young adventurers with slides, swings, rung ladders and climbing rocks. As your child grows in confidence and ability they can progress onto rope ladders and more challenging rock walls leading to play decks. It is important to remember that children willing to tackle greater challenges need to do so without compromising their safety. As your child reaches six and seven they can have endless fun developing their strength and co-ordination on our monkey bars, trapeze bars and fireman poles. You should therefore choose a climbing frame and the appropriate accessories that will suit your child when they are older, giving them plenty of time to grow into it. The beauty about our frames is that they can grow with your child as you can add more challenging accessories as your child develops. You can also choose a frame that provides suitability for multiple ages if you have several children.
- Space and Ground Requirements - We appreciate that gardens come in all shapes and sizes. You need to ensure that you have sufficient space, not only for the construction of the climbing frame but also for a play area/landing area around the frame. Our climbing frames can be built on slopes or uneven surfaces although you may need our professional installers to safely construct the frame if your surface is not reasonably level. We recommend that your position your climbing frame on a grassed area and that the main frame posts are concreted into the ground.
